​Hi! I’m Ann-Marie Alcántara, a reporter based in New York. Currently, I work at The Wall Street Journal, writing for The Experience Report. You can also find my work in The New York Times, The Lily, Inman News, Anxy Magazine, SF Sounds, Hoodline, and more.

In a past life, I was a retail reporter at Adweek, covering direct-to-consumer brands and e-commerce. Before that, I used to cover consumer tech and internet culture at POPSUGAR. Many moons ago, I worked at The Bold Italic, BuzzFeed, and Mashable.

I graduated from Vassar College, with a degree in Environmental and Urban Studies.
